Hello Robin {Name spelled as Myself},
I just wanted to say May God continue to shine His light on you and all of your beloveds and grant you speedy healing and recovery. I love you on the show and wait your return! I most enjoyed the episodes when you and the staff went on the train ride of history through America, especially about your Father! I hope to one day make the same trips discovering and rediscovering history visiting all 50 states! Stay strong and beautiful as you are! God Bless You & Yours,
Your Sister In Christ Jesus,

Robin, your smile and laughter carries many through their day. It has help me push through when I jutst wanted to turn over in bed. May GOD continue to give you the healing strength you'll need in this trying time. I admire your courage and grace. I wish you a speedy recovery in Jesus name...AMEN!

Robin, hope is like a hug; it holds you up just when you feel like falling down. Hope is like an anchor; it holds you down just when you feel like you're adrift in the world. Hope is like the ocean; it is always there even when the tide is low. Hope is like the wind that blows - the answers will come.

Robin, just remember a man called "Job" who lost so much only to gain back tenfold. What did he have to carry him through? Hope. My prayers are with you and your family at this time of mourning; that you regain full strength and recover. It is my HOPE that you will courageously go on because that is what Ms. Lucimarine would want you to do.

May Almighty God Jehovah bless you, sustain you, and comfort you in His ever-loving arms. Daughter, the answers will come. Hold on to hope and continue to pray.

With all my love,
Paulette Forman

Dear Ms Robin, You have my deepest sympathy for your loss
at this time, a time when you need your Mother's strength the most. I know the time is most difficult for you, and your family right now. But I can also tell that your Mama raised her family right, and that you are close to each other and God..& both will carry you through this, and you have your mother's spirit with you in your heart. She'll always be with you. She's part of you. I've lost both of my parents so I know that loss.Let it out so you can face your
upcoming battle with the fire that you have in your wonderful soul. God bless you, and know we are all praying for you! Your friend in Alabama.

Robin, you were a great source of inspiration to me as too I battled breast cancer. Your heartwarming book gave me courage to continue fighting "the monster". You are the epitome of class and a great source of strength. Thank you for all you do for your viewers who love and admire you! I am praying for your complete recovery as I know there's so much more for you to accomplish. You are truly a beacon of light not only to cancer patients and survivors but to all whose lives you touch! God Bless You Always!

God Bless you and yours. My prayers and love.......

Ms Roberts, my heart hurts for you in the loss of your mother. A wonderful life is hers in heaven, but her passing comes at a most difficult time for you. She would not have left if she did not know how strong you are, and that you and your sister have each other and were there for each other. I bet she made sure God promsied to take care of you too. HE has his arms around you all.
As I write this my cherished MIL is in the hospital with STAGE IV breast cancer spread to her lungs. cancer will NOT win. It cannot have her life, as she HAS LIVED IT. It cannot have her precious soul as IT IS GODS. It can have her body that is failing and she will no longer need. cancer WILL NOT WIN.
IN our mother's honor we will continue to live and be the best we can be and let her rest knowing we will take care of each other.
IN your honor I have signed on the donor registry. I have printed the prayer you and your mother so lovingly shared and it will go with the bands I have ordered to pass out.
Gods love surround you and your family now and always.

Christopher Chase

Thank you Robin for always sharing your healthcare struggles and taking us on your journey with you. Wishing you all the best for a speedy, healthy and of course FULL recovery. Stay positive as you always seem to do. You will definitely be missed while you are gone and hope to see you back on the air as soon as you are able and willing to do so. We all love us some Robin Roberts. Last but not least just saw the news about your MoM..Sorry for her loss but so happy you were able to make it and see her before she passed. May she rest in eternal peace! Take care and get well soon... *Hug*

Dear Robin,

Faith is believing all power can't be seen! My daughter was 12 when she was hit with Kidney Failure. She thought she was starting her menstrual cycle. Her organs where shutting down...I was beside myself...after 5 weeks of hospitalization, biopsy, reactive arthritis she beat it. Only it reared its ugly head again this past December. I was heartbroken when she turned to me and said "Why mom, why me? I am a senior in High School why did God pick me to be sick?" I was stunned as she cried her heart out and again was hospitalized, this time for 3 days, she bounced back thanks to her wonderful Dr, Hilary Hotchkiss who is at Mt. Sinai in the city. She has followed Chelsea, my daughter since she was 12. I realized God sent Chelsea to teach others, to teach me to hang on when I thought I had enough, to be strong and not to look back, to give more instead of giving up. I learned she would never quit! I learned I was blessed because Chelsea will change peoples' heads when they see her smile.

Success can be measured not only in achievements, but by lessons learned, the steps we take, lives touched and the moments we make. Don’t just walk, experience; Don’t just look, observe; Don’t just sleep, dream; Don’t just think, feel; Don’t just be....Live! Go where there is no path and leave a trail!!!! This is what my daughter has set out to do, she will start college in September and she is healthy! This is what you do Robin and we are all the better for it!!!! Thank you!!! You are loved and we are praying. May the Grace of God be with you and your family!

Best Wishes

Dear Robin,
Having fought through many a health crisis myself I recommend watching comedies to provide daily laughter, allow yourself to sleep as often as your body requests it (sleeping is healing) and yes, even get angry! My personal mantra was "I want my body back" and fought to do so. This syndrome is NOT in charge, you are. It's YOUR body and take it back! I look forward to watching your victorious return to GMA.

PS: Please consider skype-ing in every now and then so we can see you.

Barbara

Dear Ms. Roberts,

I watch you and the rest of the gang every morning. It not only upsets me that after everything you have already had to endure now once again you are faced with this set back. I will keep you in my prayers and I know that you will come back from this stronger and better than before and even more courageous and graceful. All the very best for a fast and speedy recovery so you can return to your GMA family and fans.
Many Blessings,

From the Caribbean to New York my family follows GMA and your very contributions to it. We will wait for you to get better and get back to us.

Robin

Dear Robin, my husband and I are wishing you all the best along with prayers and blessings. You are an inspiration to all of us with your kind spirit, you are going to be fine, God is always with you and your family.
I had the pleasure of meeting you a few years ago in Philadelphia at The Free Library at your book signing, we had our picture taken together and when you asked my name and I answered, "my name is Robin, too" - you said, "great name !" I felt as if we were longtime friends the way you answered back..very heartwarming.
I admire your strength and courage during this difficult phase of your life as do many others. Please know you have lots of people pulling for you. Take care, Robin Bailey

Audrey and Emmanuel

Dear Robin,
My 11 year old son Emmanuel Ford who is blind with cerebral palsy said a prayer for you this morning. Having gone thuough so many different surgeries with great success he is confident that we will see you back on GMA sooner than later. If I can get an email address I will email the short video to you and hope you can listen to it before you go in for your procedure. It will most definitely warm your heart. The faith of an innocent child who has never anything else in this world but light. Your voice and laughter thrills him on GMA.
Rest assured you will be in our prayers all the time until we see you back on GMA. We love you.
Audrey and Emmanuel.

Robin will miss seeing your beautiful smile in the morning while you are getting better and coming back to the show. You inspire us all with your positive attitude. You will be in my prayers and thoughts. Rita from seaford

Dear Robin,

Thank you for sharing your fight and strength
for MDS live during your newscast. Those of us
who are suffering, look at you, and can see there's
always hope.

You do your position proud, and I truly enjoy the
complete staff, and your fellow employees.
Much love, luck and well wishes for you and your family
as you go forward into your transplant.
Something tells me your going to come back
stronger, and healthier than ever.

Gods speed Robin!!!

Catherine MacLean

Dear Mrs. Roberts,
I know you have probably received quite a few letters like this since you announced your MDS diagnosis, but I wanted to add myself to your list of supporters and fellow survivors.
Last week, I celebrated eleven years since my bone marrow transplant. I am now a healthy 21 year old college student. I wish you all the best for a smooth experience in transplant and an easy road to recovery! I wanted to let you know that these stories do often end very happily; I am living proof of that.
My sense is that you are already familiar with the work of the Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplasia International Foundation, but I want to encourage you to take advantage of all the amazing resources they have to offer. From helping my parents explain bone marrow to me, to educating my teachers and school nurse, to finding research trials and second opinions, they have support and hope to provide for every aspect of these diseases. They have seminars, conferences, pamphlets and more: www.aamds.org.
I, and all members of the bone marrow failure community want to thank you for being so willing to share your story publicly. I know it cannot have been easy, but your bravery has brought comfort to thousands of MDS sufferers who now know they are not alone.
I am wishing you nothing but the best as you embark on this treatment. I hope you find the support you need throughout this process.
Sincerely,
Catherine MacLean

Dear Robin - I was out of town when you made your announcement on June 11 and saw all the posts on Facebook about something wrong with you. I was shocked and called a good friend to see what had happened. She had seen you that morning on GMA. I was heartbroken to hear the news but will be praying for you during this process. I know you have a strong faith and will pull through just fine. I have been watching GMA for 30 years and just turned 50. You are like my sister in the morning and I follow you on twitter!

Hi Robin, I love watching all of you on Good Morning America each day as I get ready for work. You are such a family and as long as you have family & your faith, you have everything. Just as everyone who heard the news, I was shocked & saddened when I heard. Earlier this year my "baby" sister was diagnosed with 3 different forms of cancer. Of course we were all devastated to hear the news, but with her strength & positive attitude we are all dealing. She too asked that we allow her to be "normal". Again, just like you, she continued to work, shop & meet with friends when she could. Someone gave me a coin & prayer card to St. Pergrine (patron saint for cancer patients)and I have been saying this prayer daily for her, adding new patients as I hear the need. I will definitely add you to my daily prayer list. I believe FAITH IS EVERYTHING! You, along with my sister, will beat this demon. I would like to send you one of these prayer coins to keep with you. If you can, please send me an address where I can send it. Stay strong & positive! Jo-Anne R

Diana Velilla

Dear Robin,
I was so sorry for hearing the news about this terrible news, You will be in my prayers every night as well as I watch you every morning. As a Volunteer firefighter here on Long Island, your situation as given me food for thought. Once a month we have a Dept. meeting and towards the end at these meetings we are asked " is there anything for Good and Welfare " next Wed. is our meeting at that point when asked I'm going to ask and see if we can have a donar day. This may be a possiable way of the people in my town to come in and get swab tested and sign up to be a donor. I know I'm going to have it done where ever I can no matter what. And please remember one saying we have at the FD " there is NEVER a problem Just a CHALLENGE "
you'll do just fine,

all my best ,
Sincerly, Richard

Our prayers are with you in your journy to beat MDS. On August 30th, 2010 my wife and I gave birth to our first daughter and then on September 18th, I was informed that I have melanoma and needed an operation. I went from being as high as I could be with the birth of my daughter to the lowest of the life but I've beaten this and I/we know you will beat MDS. You have been a great roll model to all us. As a breast cancer patient myself I know how hard it is to keep a positive attitude. I just had a double mastectomy a month ago and second surgery because healing is not going well. I struggle everyday to keep positive. You are a fighter and I know you will beat this thing. Best of luck to you.

Dearest Robin, when you announced five years ago that you had cancer, I prayed to God and asked for strength to beat this disease. Please know that his strength is made perfect in your weaknesses. You are gonna get through this. Keep the faith and be of good courage!

Joseph Esteves

My wife and I are on the Bone Marrow Donor List. My wife donated once already and although the receipiant didnt recover she would not hesitate to donate again. I havent been selected as a match and havent been called upon to donate as of yet. Although not having been a match. I would be blessed to donate even if my marrow was used only for research and not for a direct donation inspite of the minor discomfort to me. We both are praying for you and all others in the same situation.

Debbie Edmonds

Dear Robin
All of my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Just remember that all of your help comes from the Lord! Continue to believe in trust in him. May God continue to bless and keep you! I love watching you on GMA! You are truly an inspiration to us all!

Gizelle Batista

Dear Robin,
I understand what you are going through, I had my battle with the same diagnoses 18 years ago. I was scared with two young children at the time. I was given a gift by Memorial Sloan Kettering, a second chance at life. Attitude is everything with illness. I always said as I was going through this that death didn't have an appointment so it's not my time. I was also stubborn and still remain stubborn. You can beat this, I did. I wish you and your family well on this journey. The best day was when my doctor put his arms around me and told me I was cured. It felt like I could breathe for the first time. Now I am helping my daughter raise her son. Don't ever loose hope, know that you have a great number of people cheering you on even on those days where you are too tired to get out of bed. I did it, so can you!

Robin Lawson

Dear Robin,

I wanted to be sure to let you know today that I love watching you on TV. Your positive & kind manner makes watching GMA a joy to watch. Your faith and conviction will see you thru this and I join many many others who love you in prayer for a quick and successful recovery. Blessings to your loving sister. Together your bond will grow and encourage loving actions. Robin, love wins...it is written. And so you and your loving soul will win and beat this one step at a time. You will continue to be a positive role model for the world to see and learn. Blessings dear Robin Roberts.
