What are the positives and negatives of being on Facebook? More than 900 million people worldwide check their Facebook accounts at least once a month, but millions more are Facebook holdouts. the positives of facebook are helping past friends and family reunite, and keeping people connected over long distances...even internationally
the negatives (which almost outweigh the positives) are that it is addictive and a time suck. it is also preventing this generation from developing social interaction skills. couple that with the plethora of cell phones and text messaging we are losing the "human factor" of personal relationships.
