J.K. Rowling is an amazing role model and has accomplished things that many authors couldn't do.

THe Harry Potter movies have made a huge impact. J.K. Rowling accomplished something that many few authors will never get to. J.K. has her books in so many different languages and eight movies. Many nasty comments are unnecessary and she is a good role model to those out there.

Harry Potter films have been such a huge impact in the movie industry. it is a real shame they have not been acknowledged for their excellence. The reason they prob have not won is because usually the ones that really desere to win never do.. it is a rariety that the chart breaking movies win (with the exception of Titanic of course). Harry Potter should have one something as it has 8 movies and they talent in these movies make you want to watch them over and over! J.L. Rowling is amazing and she should have been recognized for it..Long Live Harry Potter!

The Harry Potter movies never won an oscar because the Hollywood insiders are a pack of pretentious snobs.

I believe Harry Potter movies never were acknowledged for any academy awards because the movies were geared towards a certain group. A cult if you will, and I personally have read all the books and have sen all the movies and I can understand why. I Loved all the movies, BUT I must say that academy calliber they were not.
but love potter and JK too!!

I feel that Harry Potter has never won an Oscar because the franchise produces extremely popular blockbuster movies. Typically, movies that feature top stars and are not blockbusters win or independent movies which become popular.

I think that Harry Potter should've won the award for best picture because of J.K Rowling saga ended because of Daniel radcliffe & i Think he an amazing job.
