New MTA head's first priority
What should the new head of the MTA’s first priority be? Gov. Andrew Cuomo will nominate former New York City deputy mayor Joseph J. Lhota has the new chief of the MTA. That is a stupid idea. Now instead of emptying the garbage cans they will have to clean the tracks, the platforms and the trains more often. NOT TO MENTION THE TRACK FIRES!!! Come on MTA don't do this to yourself or US!!!!

The MTA needs an intervention. This idea is an example of the great need to oversee all Authorities. They answer in house to themselves.
The MTA has not had an initative in years that one could call public friendly. The same public that continues to meet the demands for higher and higher fees.
The Public Service Commission could stand an intervention as well..MTA and Con Edison??
It appears the people that pay all the bills be damned.
This is at the top of one of their worst.

Does this mean there will be more mandated community service cleaning on a daily basis? PS I'm sure that the rodents wish to thank you for the extra food

well what he needs to do is help continue to provide terrific service and reliability in this remarkable infrastructure.........and not for nothing at night why they dont have the #6 train run to bowling green instead of brooklyn bridge, they can easily turn the train around can it would provide better service for people

His first job should be cleaning the Subway stations/subways and making sure that panhandlers do not come into cars asking for money!
