What would you go to prison for?
A North Carolina man robbed a bank for $1 because he needed medical attention and doesn't have insurance. In prison he will receive the care that he needs. Eyewitness News wants to know what yout think? What is one thing you would be willing to go to prison for? Post your comments (below) and they could appear on Eyewitness News First at 4 p.m.

Personally if I needed health care thats a good way to go about it, after all thats why the U.S is so in debt too many social programs.

Some teenagers would steal products they can't afford to treat their acne. I am a pharmacist who understands the problems some go through trying to treat acne. I've worked in community pharmacy for many years and learned most the tricks and latest treatments available. My patients have been having great success with these treatments; maybe this is something which could be right for you.

It is a sorry statement that an american citizen has to get themselves locked up in order to get medical attension. This country can bail out corperations some of them responsible for the financial crisis this country is in. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, the rich get medical care and the poor get sicker and die.
We need to wake up!!

The United States does not look out for their own, but they are very quick to send monies out of the country to folks who care nothing about them.
It is only until a tragedy occurs or someone has tried all the possible "avenues" disguised as "solutions", but are in fact - dead ends... that folks result to more drastic measures because they are not being heard.

It's so sad that today, here in America he had to go to such extremes. However, if this works for him what will stop someone from committing a worse, possibly violent crime to get medical attention for an illness that requires a longer treatment period?

It's so sad how people will go to the extreme just to get a medical care - very sad. Maybe the. Governtment should take notice. No person should prefer prison to freedom just to get a medical care ,that's not just right at all.

I'd go to prison for someone messing with/injuring my child. I'd wait for the police just like that NC man did who robbed that bank.
