Surprised of Tea Party backed candidates?

RP McMurphy

The Democrat Party radical socialists have re-defined the left far out of the mainstream of American political thought. Incumbant Repubs in recent history seem to fall victim to special interests and the state organized looting of the national wealth, the very things that their constituents sent them to fight. I am surprised. The Tea Party movement is the greatest awakening/breath of freedom since the 60s. I thought most Americans, particularly women, had become too passive to resist government encroachment on freedom. I have never been more proud to be an American.

I am not surprised, and I am very happy with the outcome. I think the only people surprised are the career politicians and I believe this is a peek as to what is going to happen this coming election. The Tea Party people that I know are not the crazy people that the media and career politicians put them up to be, but patriots that are tired of being taxed to death and tired of working hard and having their hard earned money going to the government for programs that are not wanted or needed.

Greg Brown

I'm not as surprised as I am concerned. The Tea Party's views are at the very least extreme and in some cases harmful. I would hate to see an over stressed American public move in such a divisive direction.

I am not surprised at the success of the tea party I think many of us have had enough of deficit spending and are looking for someone to help change our Country and get us back on track, stop all this unecessary spending and get Americans back to work.
