Skating through a Fabulous Fall Day
Watch Warm Streak in November
The pleasant stretch of weather landed me in Bryant Park on Wednesday. I found a battle between sunbathers and ice skaters. With temperatures in the mid 60s in November - park goers were happily bewildered... eating lunch outdoors, ice skating in short sleeves, and comtemplating paybacks!
The good new is that in meteorology, while things do seem to balance out, there is no such thing as "paybacks," so no worries about freezing over the weekend to make up for the sunny weather. But the bad news is that changes are coming.... cloudy today with a chance of showers and cooler temperatures through Friday.
Ultimately there will be plenty of cold to ice skate... so bookmark the places you can skate on your lunch break!
