Inspiring Dances on Latin Night Elimination Show on 'Dancing with the Stars'

The results show kicked off with Michael Bublé!  What a great way to start!  He sang “Come Dance with Me” and it was very elegant as the pros performed.  That’s off his new album “To Be Loved”.

The other top scoring couple from last night, Aly & Mark, were chosen to perform their dance again and they did a great job of course!  The top scoring couple, Kellie & Derek, won immunity last night so they will be moving on to next week.

Dance Off Heats Up the Competition on 'Dancing with the Stars'

It’s Latin Night on “Dancing with the Stars” and things are really heating up!  We’re down to the final seven couples.

Jacoby and Karina were up first with their Salsa.  Jacoby got the hip action going right away and I loved how slinky he was able to keep his arms.  The lifts were also really good although maybe a little rough on some of the pickups after the lifts.  His footwork also really seemed to improve a lot too.  It was difficult choreography and he did amazing with it.  Len said he would have liked a few less lifts but he really liked it a lot and said he was hot and rhythmic. Jacoby’s mother was having none of that, and thought her son was perfect of course!  Bruno said “the fiesta has begun” and he thought his hip action was fabulous.  Carrie Ann said it’s like he could “Fart the Salsa” um, what?  Everyone was confused by that, but she went on to say he got down and dirty and he had the right flavor for it.

Their Scores: Carrie Ann – 9, Len – 9, and Bruno – 9, for a total of 27 out of 30.

Latin Night Tonight on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Tonight it gets muy caliente on "Dancing with the Stars" because it's Latin Night!

The remaining seven couples will hit the ballroom floor and perform to a Latin-inspired hit.  Also, in a new twist and another "Dancing with the Stars" first, the couple with the highest overall score for the night will be granted immunity from elimination on Tuesday.  I don't think this is that big a deal, because the highest scoring couple is unlikely to get eliminated, but it's still cool to see some new twists thrown into the mix.

Victor & Lindsay on 'Live with Kelly & Michael' Thursday

America's sweethearts Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold will be on "Live with Kelly & Michael" on Thursday! The two were most recently voted off of "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday night.

Did they really get along...because things seemed a little tense at times?  I hope to learn the answer to that question!  Also, it totally seemed to me that Victor was relieved at the news he wouldn't have to learn any more dance routines!  Still, they made a cute dancing pair!

You can watch Victor and Lindsay on "Live with Kelly & Michael" Thursday morning at 9 a.m. on ABC!

Star Knocked Out of 'Dancing with the Stars'

The results show kicked off with Olly Murs performing his current hit "Troublemaker".  You might have heard of him from "X Factor".  It's a catchy tune but it wasn't particularly that great.  They should have started with Stevie Wonder again!

Then it was time for some results.  Kellie & Derek found out that they were safe.  Aly & Mark also found out that they were safe.  That was all the results for now, it wasn't like last week where half the cast was safe right off the bat, they made us wait a while this week!

Stevie Wonder Takes Over 'Dancing with the Stars'!

Stevie Wonder kicked off “Dancing with the Stars” in one of the best show beginnings ever!

He was center stage tearing it up musically as the pros and troupe tore up the dance floor.  Then, Hunter Hayes came out and did a duet with Stevie!  It was amazing!

Zendaya and Val danced the Cha Cha to Stevie Wonder’s “I do, I do.”  She looked fabulous!  Zendaya really had the slinky part of the Cha Cha down, she was boogying down!  She also really played up to the cameras with her eyes.  Her performance level is really above and beyond!  Len said she had great rhythm in her and great musicality and said he would have liked her legs straighter when she walked around Val but it was a great way to start the show.  Bruno said she had great hip action!  Carrie Ann said that Zendaya blew her away and that she feels sorry for everyone having to go after her!

Their Scores: Carrie Ann – 10, Len – 9, and Bruno – 10, for a total of 29 out of 30.

Funny Man Sent Home on 'DWTS' - But Which One?

We would see tonight who the side by side challenge would take down.  The first couple safe was Kellie & Derek.  They did great, so that’s not a shock.  The first couple in jeopardy however was Ingo & Kym!  Wow.  He didn’t dance that great last night, but I thought the fact that he was pretty good until then would carry them through.  We’ll have to see what happens!

The judges chose Jacoby and Karina’s Jive to see again.  It was really fantastic so I was happy they chose that dance!  Not to mention the fact that Maks and Anna were the pros on that side by side dance.

Side by Side Dances Show off Flaws for Some, Perfection for Others

Before tonight’s show started, Tom and Brooke shared that their thoughts are with the people of Boston after the horrific bombings at the Boston Marathon.  They assured viewers if there were any important updates, ABC News would break into programming to provide them.  It’s so terrible that an event that brings people together resulted in a loss of life due to an evil person.

Tonight, your favorite pros, including Maks, are back!  It was good to see Anna and Chelsie again too!

The professional couples will be dancing side by side to the celebrity couples.  It will really show the flaws in the celebrities against the pros!  It’s a very interesting competition!

Ingo & Kym danced the Cha Cha alongside Tony & Emma.  Tony & Emma started and then Ingo & Kym danced alongside and Ingo looked slightly behind.  Once the side by side part was over, they didn’t look that bad on their own, but I don’t think the Latin dances are his strong suit.  Ingo just looked a little stiff and not slinky in the hips like the Cha Cha demands.  Len thought he kept up with the stamina, but he didn’t have enough “care” in the dance.  He was referring to the details.  Bruno said that he put a lot out there, but his hip action was not smooth and his timing wasn’t great.  Carrie Ann said the pelvic thrusts were a hit but she thought he carried himself well however below the belt he needs a little more strength.

Their Scores: Carrie Ann – 7, Len – 7, and Bruno – 7, for a total of 21 out of 30.

Andy Dick Saved on 'Dancing with the Stars', Another Star Eliminated

The results started quickly and revealed that Aly & Mark with their high score of the night were safe.  Also safe for next week were Zendaya & Val and Kellie & Derek.  So far, no big surprises.  Ingo & Kym fortunately were also safe.  And then there were six couples left to learn their fate and we would have to wait a little while for those results.

Aly & Mark were chosen by Twitter voters to dance their Contemporary dance again from last night.  It was really cool to see her do all of those flips again!

Jacoby & Karina and Sean & Peta came out next to learn if they were safe or in jeopardy.  Jacoby & Karina learned they were safe.  Sean & Peta found out they were safe during the break for some reason, and that was weird.

Stars' Dances Reflect Their Defining Moments in Their Lives

Tonight the stars are dancing to songs that illustrate their “Defining Moments” in their lives.  Lisa didn’t come out with Gleb so we will have to wait and see if she is going to dance because she got injured during rehearsals this past week.

Sean and Peta danced the Viennese Waltz.  He described his defining moment as finding Catherine on “The Bachelor”.  He’s also going to incorporate her into the dance!  He is really good at the storytelling aspect of the dance, you really can understand all of the emotion behind each of his moves.  He looks a little nervous during some of the bigger moves.  Then he did some weird solo dance towards the end and it led him over to Catherine and he gave her a kiss to end it.  Len said it was a pretty good effort at a difficult dance.  He said that he has to watch his feet because he got a little excited and ahead of the music at times.  Bruno said it was a very caring and tender dance but that his wonderful fluidity he wasn’t able to carry it through the entire time.  Carrie Ann said that he had two major lifts and that is a no-no.  Oops!

Their Scores: Carrie Ann – 6, Len – 7, and Bruno – 7, for a 20 out of 30.  Carrie Ann took off some major points for those lifts! Yikes!
