No Second Chances on Tonight's 'Dancing With the Stars' Elimination
Grammy winner Raphael Saadiq kicked things off by performing “Soul Man”. It was high energy and full of soul, but I found the dancing a little bland for the start of a results show!
Susan Boyle was out next to perform “Unchained Melody” off of her “Somebody to Watch Over Me” album. I was really interested to see her because it’s been a really long time since we’ve heard very much about her. She first became famous for her beautiful voice, and then for her crazy antics before performances. This seemed to be pretty calm though, other than a few off notes (at least that’s what they sounded like to me). She did a great job of bringing such raw emotion to the song and that was only enhanced by the beautiful dancing by the pros Peta and Val.
At last, it was finally time for some results! Rob & Cheryl, J.R. & Karina, and Ricki & Derek were up first. The first couple saved was Ricki & Derek. The next couple safe was J.R. & Karina. Rob & Cheryl found out that they were in jeopardy. I’m hoping that they were just using this as a scare tactic and they weren’t really in the bottom, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Julianne Hough was back out with her costar from “Footloose” Kenny Wormald . They did a wonderfully romantic dance to their duet “Holding Out for a Hero” and then later the theme song to the movie by Blake Shelton. It was a great preview to the movie! At the end the crowd gave Julianne a standing ovation! Everyone was really happy to have her back in the ballroom.
Next up for results, Chynna & Tony, Carson & Anna, and Chaz & Lacey. The next couple safe was Chaz & Lacey. I wasn’t surprised by this because he did show some improvement and has a huge fan base. Carson & Anna also learned they were safe! Lastly, Chynna & Tony found out that they were in jeopardy.
Julianne and Derek then came back out to do a brother and sister dance. They are both so amazing! They really are like a modern day Donny and Marie! I swear you could get a tooth ache watching these two! It was full of jumps, splits and lifts. A truly great job by both of them!
The final three to learn their fate was Nancy & Tristan, David & Kym, and Hope & Maks. The first couple safe was Hope & Maks. Nancy & Tristan learned that they were in jeopardy (not really a surprise). David & Kym fortunately were safe! His dance was so good last night, I feel relieved for him!
First safe, were Nancy & Tristan! Holy cow, that’s a shocker! In the end, Chynna & Tony were sent home. Looks like voters were pretty unforgiving of her forgetting her routine! I really thought that people might vote for her just to give her another chance, but I guess not. I’m glad that Rob & Cheryl will be back though!
You can watch Chynna & Tony on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at midnight! The final 8 will be back for 80’s Week next Monday!

I'm waiting for America to get the nerve to vote of Chaz Bono. DWTS is becoming a joke as long as he continues to stay on the show. For me it's not about his sexual preference......it strictly about the dancing. He simply can't dance. Stop the madness.

TRUE VERY TRUE His LGBT friends are ones that keep voting for Chaz or whatever. STOP THE MADNESS with you Sodom and Geromahh people. Chaz Bono is a terrible dancer and he should been eliminated period.
