Drama unfolds inside the 'Bachelor Pad'

The contestants were barely inside the door of the "Bachelor Pad" and drama had already begun to unfold.  For some of them, the drama happened before the show even started.  A few of the contestants apparently had met and "hooked up" at a bachelor/bachelorette reunion convention.  Jesse K. and Elizabeth have a very tumultuous relationship, but we'll get to them later.  Also, Juan and Natalie have gotten friendly, and things have certainly taken a turn for the unfriendly between those two.  Then there is Tenley and Kiptyn.  They say they have gone to dinner together and hung out, but nothing has happened...yet.

The show began just like any other season of "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette", the limos pulled up to the front of the mansion and Chris Harrison was standing there waiting.  He welcomed each of the housemates in as they squealed or screeched (Ahem, Tenley) at the excitement of each new arrival.  If you would like a recap of everyone on the show, CLICK HERE.  It's just too long to go through each and every one of them again.

The show is simple. There is a competition and whoever wins it, gets a rose.  If you get a rose, you are safe for that week and you get to take 3 guys or girls on a date.  On the date, the guy or girl gets to be like the Bachelor or Bachelorette for the day.  They hand out a rose to which ever one of the three of their dates they like the best, or have some kind of deal with.

The first competition was Twister, but in bikini's and swim trunks of course!  They 19 housemates twisted and tumbled, all while admiring the view of their competitors' hot bodies.

Twister

In the end, Craig was victorious, to the dismay of Elizabeth.  As Jessie was the final girl on the twister board, she struck up a deal with Craig that whoever won would take the other one out on the date.  Craig held true to his word and invited her on the date.  He also invited Elizabeth in an effort to win her over, and Gwen, to try and get someone who didn't know him on his side.  Not a bad strategy. However, he declined to invite Crazy Michelle, who may or may not have hooked up with him the night before.

The foursome gets a date card!  They then head on to a date to the beach and have a good time.

Elizabeth flirts like crazy with Craig and even has him believing that she is somewhat interested in him.  Silly Craig, she only has eyes for Jesse K.  Duh!

Anyway in the end, Craig decides to give a rose to Jessie, and they continue on to a date at a concert hall. Alex Band, the lead singer of the band "The Calling" sang the band's famous song from a few years back.  Side note: Where on earth has he been?

Jessie and Craig dance the night away, but from the look of things, they seemed to be dancing like friends.

Back at the house, people are playing mind games of all sorts with each other.  Elizabeth declared her love for Jesse K (whom she has apparently been dating for 3 months) only for him to tell her, he doesn't think it's a good idea if he's not available.  This breaks poor Elizabeth's heart and she cries.

Jesseelizabeth
Later she tells Jesse that the girls will hate him and vote him out if he continues to treat her this way.  He finally sees the light that girls stick together and hate to see their friends crying over another guy.  Plus, I'm pretty sure no one else wanted to hook up with him anyway.  In my opinion, Jesse K should be counting his lucky stars that beautiful Elizabeth even wants to be with him.  Unfortunately for her, he's just not that into her, and she knows it, but refuses to accept it.

Then, Michelle barricades Tenley inside the bathroom and refuses to let her out.  She is convinced that Tenley started a rumor about her hooking up with Craig which she says is not true...sure.

Tenleycrying
Tenley gets super freaked out and runs out of the bathroom crying after Michelle has yelled and cursed at her to her liking.  Everyone in the house pretty much agrees that Michelle is crazy and has to go.

The guys will vote a girl out, and the girls will vote a guy out.  The guys decide to vote out Crazy Michelle...big shocker there, I know.  The girls meantime are pretty split between Juan and Jesse K.  Jesse K was incredibly insensitive to Elizabeth and is a very good competitor, so it would be to their benefit to get rid of him.

Juannikki
Juan meantime, was an uber jerk to Nikki.  He slept with her just so he could have a free place to stay on his trip to Chicago apparently.  In the end, it's Juan who gets the boot.

Everyone else received roses from Melissa and will continue onto next week.  I'm actually kind of glad Jesse K will still be with us.  I want to see how this Elizabeth/Jesse K relationship will play out.  I'm betting on disaster.  Another notable romance that is brewing: Natalie and Jesse B.

They are adorable and can't stop kissing each other, let's see if it lasts!

I guess it is so exciting to be one of the participants. How I wish I could experience it.
