I'm away on vacation this week, and was actually at the Yankees-Blue Jays game when LOST aired last night. It is, I'm pretty sure, the first time since at least season two that I waited until the next day to watch an episode. I have to say I feel like I didn't miss much. This one will not go on many favorite lists, I'm pretty sure.
That said, here are "7 Things About LOST: The Package."
A couple of weeks ago it looked like Ben's number was up, so to speak. But he survived the episode "Dr. Linus" in a most unexpected way. I'm wondering if Jin and Sun will be as lucky after tonight's show, "The Package"?
The Kwons haven't been in the same place since the end of season four, when Jin seemed to have perished in the explosion on the freighter sent to the island by Charles Widmore.

Several of this year's episodes also share something else in common: The title says a little bit of something about both the Version 1.0 Losties, and their Flashsideways counterparts.
We are up to episode 6.6 this week, with only 12 more new episode of LOST *ever* after Tuesday!! Is anyone else starting to be bummed out by these particular numbers? This week, the focus is on Sayid - both "Bomb Squad" Sayid on the island, and his Flashsideways counterpart.

First off, what an episode, this was quite the week. Last week's, "What Kate Does" got panned by a lot of die-hard fans, and though I didn't hate it myself, I'm thinking those who were disappointed found this to be a refreshing change- so much forward movement in the plot, and lots of those little LOST moments that brought back that first season feeling.
And here are our 7 Things About LOST: The Substitute.
Locke and Flocke are back! After a week with no Ben, John, Richard or Sun, we are headed back to the sunny side of the beach, away from the Temple and those pesky Temple Others. Not that everything is so wonderful for the Losties, Lapidus and Ilana, who last saw Flocke storming away from them after declaring himself deeply disappointed in them and those who followed Jacob.
I'll be most interested to see where Ben goes next. After becoming such an instrumental character for three full seasons, he seems to be kind of a wild card again- no Jacob to do odd jobs for, no clear next step in his villainous development. But I'm sure he'll figure out where best to use his evil genius.
Here's a little pre-Tuesday video for you: Evangeline Lilly talks about her take on "Flashsideways" Kate, and the LOST producers take viewer questions!
We got a lot of answers and many more questions in the season six premiere of LOST. But the writers and producers did more than advance the story - they also planted some really fun clues for the hardcore fans.
Some of the clues might be significant, like the look on Jack's face during the flight of Oceanic 815 that suggest he's experiencing Deja Vu, or Charley's comment after Jack saves him that " I was supposed to die" or even Locke telling Boone he did go on his Walkabout in Australia. Are those little moments supposed to suggest that things might have been very different this time around for the LOST characters, even before Oceanic 815 didn't crash? That they might sense something's not quite right though the flight goes just fine? Or are they just fun red herrings?

First things first. Here's the best LOST line of the night: "I'm sorry you had to see me like that." So it's official: "Flocke" (or, "Not Locke" if you prefer) is... smokey... is the man in black.
And now, our 7 Things About LOST: LA X Part 1
